TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That would round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part that matters. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
